Dimxsk This dude takes the sound that got me listening almost exclusively to hip hop in 2004 and skillfully allows it to evolve, adding his own personality and artistic license along the way. My number one complaint about a lot of modern indie rap is it’s homogeneity, if you hear the first minute of track 1 you know what the last minute of track 18 is gonna sound like. I love that I can still find something that reminds me there are still artists who aren’t satisfied releasing product like that.
